3 Instant Recipes to Cook on Weekends

Weekends are not made for long hours in the kitchen; they are for relaxation. Whether you try to catch up with an old friend, sleep, binge-watch your favourite show, or host a casual lunch with your family. But cooking on weekends does not have to take hours; it can be done within minutes without compromising on the flavours and taste. With the right cookware, your job of cooking is half done.

Sumeet Cookware understands the pulse of Indian kitchens, where each meal is made with love, memories, and a bit of rush. So we bring you 3 quick recipes that you can make in under 30 minutes, using Sumeet essentials, be it a non-stick Kadhai, or a flat tawa. Sumeet will help you enjoy your weekend cooking without the chaos.

Below are 3 recipes that will make your weekend cooking hassle-free:

1.      Creamy Masala One Pot Pasta:

For this recipe, you will need pasta, onions, tomato, bell peppers, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, oregano, cream, water, salt, oil, and coriander.

Start by heating oil in Sumeet Non-Stick Kadhai, then sauté onions until soft, after which add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes and all the spices. Cook the ingredients until the tomatoes break down. Next, add in chopped bell pepper, uncooked pasta, salt and water. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until the pasta is done. Next, add cream and let it simmer for 2 minutes. Lastly, garnish it with chopped coriander.

The non-stick surface of Sumeet Kadhai ensures no burning even when cooking one-pot meals.

2.      Garlic Cheese Toast

For this, all you will need is bread slices, salted butter, garlic cloves, grated cheese, and chilli flakes.

Start by mixing finely chopped garlic with butter in a small bowl. Then spread the butter evenly on one side of the bread, and then top it with grated cheese and sprinkle chilli flakes, toast it on the Sumeet Non-stick Grill Pan on medium flame, wait until it gets crispy and golden. Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.

3.      Vegetable Fried Rice

You will need cooked rice, carrots, capsicum, spring onions, soy sauce, vinegar, salt and pepper to taste and oil.

Start by heating oil in the Sumeet Stainless Steel Fry Pan, and then proceed by adding all the chopped vegetables. Stir-fry all veggies on high flame for 2-3 minutes, then in the next step, add rice, soy sauce, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Toss everything for 4-5 minutes. Lastly, sprinkle spring onions and serve them along with some Schezwan Sauce.

The recipes mentioned above are best for the weekend as all 3 can be prepared under 30 minutes, but still feel like a proper meal.
